1-2 times a week the proprietress gives a talk in culturhistorical themes, themes taken from the old times in Norway.

The talks will be given in different language. The proprietress has education from the historical philosophic faculty in the university in Oslo.

Hovdekollen has wonderful view over the vally Modum, Krødsherad and Ringerike. We prefer to go in an agreeable tempo, for everyone. We will take a look at some forest cultural memories, and we will go in old forest. At Hovdebu you will get some waffle, braised in open fire in an old stove. We will use waffle iron from the past, and the coffee will be made in the old way. We'll be back in 3-4 hours.
